I started Teach Me Tech in 2025 because of my own dad. He taught me that staying close to the people you love matters more than almost anything, and I watched technology quietly get in the way of that for him. I have been doing this for Orange County families ever since.

Nobody remembers every step, especially for the app you only use once a month. So after each visit, we leave you a printed, large-text guide made for your device, with screenshots and plain words.
We also prepare a personalized binder, organized by task, with detailed step-by-step instructions built around your specific needs, and we add to it as you learn.
When you forget a step next week (we all do), the answer is sitting right there by the phone.

More than OK, that's most of our calls. Tell us what's giving you trouble, whether it's one small thing or a whole list, and we'll sort out where to start together.
What actually happens during a first visit?
You call or email and tell us what's going on, we find a time that works, and then we come to your kitchen table (or hop on the phone) and go step by step at your pace. You keep written notes from everything we cover.
How is this different from taking my device to a store?
No counter, no line, and no rushed five-minute fix. We come to you, focus on you alone, explain things without jargon, and never push a gadget or upgrade you don't need.
Do you only help with phones, or other things too?
Phones and tablets are a big part of it, but we also help with video calls, online safety, everyday apps like Venmo, smart home and TV setup, and cleaning up photos and clutter.
