Terms of Use

Terms of use for this website

These terms cover the use of teachmetechoc.com. They are deliberately short. The terms that govern actual sessions in your home are in the written service agreement we sign before the first visit, and those are the ones that matter to a client.

Teach Me Tech LLC, Orange County, California. Last updated 6 September 2026.

Using this site

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update them from time to time, and the date above tells you when we last did.

The articles here are general information, not advice for your situation

Our blog explains common technology problems and how to avoid scams. It is written to be genuinely useful, but it is general information written for a wide audience. It is not tailored advice about your device, your accounts or your circumstances, and it is not legal, financial or security advice.

Technology changes constantly. A step that was correct when an article was written may be out of date by the time you read it. If something matters, check with us or with the manufacturer before acting on it.

You follow any instructions on this site at your own risk. If you are worried about a specific problem, call us instead. That is what we are for.

If you think you are being scammed right now

Do not rely on a web page. Hang up the phone, do not click anything further, and call someone you trust. Then call your bank if money is involved. You can call us on (949) 994-2407 and we will help you work out what happened, but if funds have moved, your bank comes first.

Contacting us through the form

Sending us a message through the contact form does not create a client relationship or oblige us to take you on. We will get back to you and we will tell you honestly if we are not the right fit or if you are outside our service area.

Please do not send passwords, account numbers, card details or any other sensitive information through the contact form. We will never ask you for those in writing.

Services and pricing

Any rates shown on this site are current at the time of writing and may change. The price that applies to you is the one we quote and agree with you before work begins. Sessions are governed by our written service agreement, which sets out scope, cancellation and payment terms. Where anything on this website conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement wins.

Our content

The text, images, logo and design on this site belong to Teach Me Tech LLC. You are welcome to read it, print it for yourself, and share a link with anyone who might find it useful. Please do not republish our articles as your own or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse something we do not.

We sometimes link to manufacturers, government resources and other organisations. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or how they handle your information.

Availability

We try to keep this site up and correct, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may change or remove pages at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by California law, Teach Me Tech LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

This section applies to the website. Liability relating to services performed in your home is dealt with in the signed service agreement, not here.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute relating to this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

Accessibility and privacy

Our accessibility statement explains how we have built this site to be usable by everyone, and our privacy policy explains what information we collect and how to have it removed.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask. We would rather explain it than have you guess.
