Privacy

Your privacy, in plain English

We help people who are often the target of scams and data misuse, so it would be strange for us to be careless with information. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how to get it removed. No legal fog.

Teach Me Tech LLC, Orange County, California. Last updated 6 September 2026.

The short version

  • We do not sell your personal information, and we never have
  • We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers
  • We never keep your passwords after a session ends
  • You can ask us to delete everything we hold, and we will

What we collect on this website

When you fill in the contact form

The form asks for your name and phone number, which are required so we can call you back. Your email address, city and message are optional. Whatever you enter is emailed to us and stored in our email account. That is the whole pipeline. There is no customer database behind this website and no account for you to create.

When you simply visit

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people find the site and which pages help them. It sets cookies and collects your approximate location based on your IP address, the type of device and browser you are using, which pages you looked at and for how long, and how you arrived. It does not tell us your name and we cannot identify you personally from it.

Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. It processes your IP address and some browser characteristics to make that judgement.

We may in future add a tool that records anonymised page interactions, such as where visitors click and how far they scroll, to help us fix confusing parts of the site. If we do, form fields and any text you type will be masked so we cannot read them, and we will update this page before it goes live.

What we do not collect

This website does not take payments, so it never sees a card number. It has no logins and no user accounts. We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels or social media tracking pixels.

Information we handle during a session

This part matters more than the website, and most privacy policies skip it.

When we help you in your home, we may need to see or use your accounts, and sometimes a password, in order to fix the thing you asked us to fix. Our practice is fixed and we do not vary it:

  • Wherever possible, you type your own password, not us
  • We never write down, photograph or store your passwords, and we do not keep them after the visit
  • We never move money, make a purchase or send a payment on your behalf. If we are setting up a payment app, you send the first payment yourself while we watch and explain
  • We do not take copies of your files, photos or contacts unless you have asked us to back them up, and then only to the destination you choose
  • We do not install remote access software that would let us reach your device after we leave, unless you ask for it and understand what it does

The records we keep about you as a client are ordinary and minimal: your name, address, phone number, what we worked on and when, and any notes that help us pick up where we left off next time.

Who we share information with

Only the services that make the website work: Google, for analytics; Cloudflare, for the spam check on the form; our website host and our email provider. Each of them handles the information described above and nothing more.

Beyond that, we share information only where the law requires it, or where someone is at risk of serious harm.

How long we keep things

Contact form enquiries stay in our email until they are no longer useful, and we clear out old ones periodically. Client records are kept while you are a client and for three years afterwards, which covers our tax and record keeping obligations. Google Analytics data expires automatically after fourteen months.

Your rights in California

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you and where it came from, to ask us to correct it if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right exists and we are telling you about it.

We will never treat you differently, refuse service or change your price because you exercised any of these rights.

To make a request, call us on (949) 994-2407 or email teachmetechoc@gmail.com. Ask in whatever words are comfortable. You do not need to use legal language and you do not need to explain why. We will confirm who you are before acting on a request about someone's personal information, and we will respond within forty five days.

If you are acting on behalf of a parent or relative, tell us that when you get in touch and we will explain what we need to see.

Children

This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle client information will be told to you directly, not buried here.
